Forms of abuse against male victims

Many forms of domestic violence perpetrated by women towards male victims use the family courts to extend abuse and control. Some examples include making false accusations of domestic violence, making false accusations of child abuse or ruining reputation at work or in the community. These forms of domestic violence may be more common among men as victims and women as perpetrators because of the presumption that men are always the perpetrators of domestic violence and that females are always the victims.
